About this role:

We are seeking an experienced Observability Engineer to join our team. This is a unique opportunity to work on building and finetuning the platform components for the Observability product.

As a key member of our platform team, you will be responsible for supporting and maintaining the applications onboarded to Grafana Observability, Ingestion, and visualization written in PromQL, Log queries, etc., and monitoring technologies.

This position requires experience in Observability and Monitoring initiatives as a platform engineer. You should have a strong background in troubleshooting platform issues, developing and implementing build release pipelines, and providing technical guidance during the diagnosis of issues.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Developing and maintaining observability solutions using open-source tools such as Grafana, Mimir, Loki, Tempo, Fluentbit, and Vector.
  • Troubleshooting platform issues and restoring service by resolving customer-facing incidents.
  • Implementing and optimizing enterprise-level observability platforms for Grafana OSS products.
  • Designing and developing standard Grafana dashboards for critical metrics for various Azure/GCP services using observability data.
Requirements:
  • 4-year degree (Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field) and/or equivalent combination of education or work experience.
  • 1-3+ years of experience in integration engineering related to Observability/Monitoring framework with open-source technologies.
  • Hands-on experience with tools and technology is preferred.
  • 1+ years of experience as a System Reliability Engineer is required.
