Seeking a seasoned professional to spearhead IT monitoring platform management at our offices.

Main Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to ScienceLogic SL1, focusing on root cause analysis and efficient resolution methods.
  • Configure, manage and optimize SNMP, WMI, SSH, and API-based data collection tools for seamless hybrid IT environments.
  • Design and implement custom dashboards and reports in SL1 to enhance visibility and strategic decision-making.
  • Integrate ScienceLogic with ServiceNow or similar ITSM tools for streamlined incident management processes.
  • Develop expertise in refining alert thresholds and minimizing noise in dynamic IT ecosystems.
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in IT monitoring/observability platforms, with a proven track record of success.
  • In-depth knowledge of SL1 architecture, collectors, and PowerPacks, as well as hands-on scripting skills (Python, PowerShell, Bash) for automation.
  • Familiarity with hybrid IT monitoring (On-prem, AWS, Azure, GCP), including cloud-based infrastructure and services.
  • Understanding of ITIL processes (Incident, Change, Problem), with experience applying these principles in real-world scenarios.
  • Knowledge of MariaDB troubleshooting and fixes, including performance optimization techniques.
