New Product Development Specialist Role Overview

Job Summary:

We are seeking a talented and innovative New Product Development Specialist to lead the development of cutting-edge packaging solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Innovative Packaging Design: Develop new and creative packaging solutions that align with consumer needs and trends.
  • Product Design Enhancement: Identify areas for design improvement in current product packaging to enhance user experience, sustainability, cost-effectiveness, and brand impact.
  • Prototyping & Testing: Oversee the prototyping and testing of new packaging designs to ensure functionality, durability, and alignment with product specifications and consumer expectations.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, production, R&D, and supply chain teams to ensure smooth integration of new packaging designs into production processes and product launches.
  • Trend Analysis & Market Research: Conduct in-depth research on current market trends, consumer preferences, and competitor offerings to inform the development of innovative packaging solutions.
  • Sustainability Focus: Explore and implement eco-friendly packaging materials and processes to reduce environmental impact and align with sustainability goals.
  • Project Management: Manage multiple packaging development projects simultaneously, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
  • Supplier & Vendor Coordination: Collaborate with external packaging suppliers and manufacturers to source materials, evaluate new technologies, and ensure the feasibility of new packaging solutions.
  • Compliance & Standards: Ensure that all new packaging designs comply with industry standards, regulations, and quality control requirements.
