Job Title: Quality Assurance Specialist

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance procedures for products, services, and processes.
  • Perform regular inspections and audits to ensure adherence to quality standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Review and approve product specifications, process control documents, and quality-related documentation.
  • Identify and resolve quality issues by conducting root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions.
Testing and Inspection:
  • Conduct quality testing and inspections on raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products.
  • Ensure that the correct tests are applied at each stage of production, and all test results are accurately documented.
  • Analyze test data to assess product quality and identify potential areas for improvement.
  • Perform final inspections and sign-offs for products before they are shipped or delivered to customers.
Process Improvement:
  • Identify areas of inefficiency or quality concerns within production or service delivery processes and recommend improvements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process changes that enhance product quality, reduce defects, and increase operational efficiency.
  • Monitor the effectiveness of corrective actions and process improvements to ensure they yield the desired results.
Documentation and Reporting:
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of inspections, test results, non-conformance reports, corrective actions, and process audits.
  • Prepare and submit regular quality reports to management, highlighting key quality metrics and improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure that all quality-related documents are up-to-date and compliant with policies and regulatory requirements.
Compliance and Standards:
  • Ensure all products and processes comply with relevant industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in industry regulations, quality standards, and best practices, and integrate them into quality systems.
  • Support internal and external audits, inspections, and certifications to maintain compliance and certification status.
Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality Management, or a related field. Certification in Quality Management (e.g., Six Sigma, ISO 9001) is preferred.
  • Experience: 0-2 years of experience in quality assurance or quality control, preferably in a manufacturing or service industry.
Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of quality control processes, inspection techniques, and standards.
  • Experience with quality management systems and relevant industry standards.
  • Proficient in using QA/QC tools and software.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to perform root cause analysis and resolve quality issues.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication skills, with ability to communicate quality issues effectively to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
