Job Summary

As a Systems Efficiency Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Incident Resolution: Investigate and resolve technical incidents arising from system alerts, monitoring operations, and error reports.
  • Change Implementation: Deploy high-impact changes and automate repetitive tasks using automation tools to enhance system efficiency.
  • Work Orders: Resolve work orders by collaborating with regional product teams and customer support teams to deliver timely solutions.
  • Problem Management: Identify problem tickets, collaborate with developers to diagnose root causes, and implement corrective actions.
  • Monitoring: Analyze critical system parameters, modify dashboards, and optimize alert configurations to ensure seamless system operation.

Required Skills:

  • Proficiency in Unix shell scripting for system automation and troubleshooting.
  • Experience in building CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Git, and Maven to streamline software development.
  • Strong skills in troubleshooting using logs, Splunk/Dynatrace, and alert configuration.
  • Good understanding of IT Service Management (ITSM) principles for incident, change, and problem management.
  • Ability to extract, modify, and update data in Postgres and SQL databases.

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience in designing and implementing automated workflows from scratch.
  • Knowledge of Java Environment, JVMs, and containerization technologies like Kubernetes and Docker.
  • Cloud administration experience, preferably in AWS.
