Job Overview

  • Our organization seeks a PLM Solution Lead to drive product development efficiency through the design and implementation of effective PLM strategies and solutions.
  • This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams including engineering, manufacturing, and IT to integrate PLM processes across the organization.
  • The ideal candidate will have experience in identifying and analyzing business requirements to develop clear PLM system specifications.
  • Additionally, this individual should be able to facilitate training and support for end-users to ensure successful adoption of PLM tools and processes.
  • Regular monitoring and evaluation of PLM system performance will also be a key responsibility.
  • Effective management relationships with PLM software vendors will be necessary, as well as overseeing system upgrades and enhancements.
  • Development and maintenance of documentation for PLM processes, policies, and procedures is essential.
  • Staying current with industry trends and best practices in PLM will also be required, with recommendations for solutions to enhance business operations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 12-15 years of experience in PLM, product development, or related field.
  • Proven track record of implementing and managing PLM solutions in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of PLM tools (preferably Windchill, Teamcenter) and methodologies.
  • Excellent leadership and project management skills.
  • Effective communication skills with ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience with ERP systems (like SAP) is desirable.
