Vehicle Parts Specialist

We are seeking a Vehicle Parts Specialist to manage the layout and packaging of parts in a vehicle digital mock-up, considering functionality, assembly, and serviceability. You will be responsible for PLM release activities, UG NX 2D/3D handling, and providing support throughout the vehicle's entire life cycle.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Layout & Packaging: Manage the layout and packaging of parts in the vehicle digital mock-up, ensuring all aspects of functionality, assembly (Design For Assembly), and serviceability (Design For Service) are considered.
  • CAD & PLM Management: Conduct PLM release activities at various vehicle stages. Handle UG NX 2D/3D, including drawing preparation and review.
  • Vehicle Program Support: Support vehicle programs through their entire life cycle, including design, prototype builds, vehicle testing, and production.
  • Electrical & Diagnostics: Apply an understanding of vehicle electrical architecture and assist in preparing circuit diagrams at the vehicle system level. Handle diagnostics, including CAN log analysis, and flashing.
  • Cross-functional Coordination: Coordinate with various teams for testing, homologation, vehicle batches (Prototype, Pilot, Series Production), plant, and service.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proven experience with DMU and part packaging.
  • Proficiency in PLM (Teamcenter) and UG NX 2D, 3D for drawing and modeling.
  • Strong understanding of the vehicle life cycle, from design to production.
  • Knowledge of vehicle electrical architecture and circuit diagrams.
  • Experience with diagnostics (CAN log analysis) and flashing.
  • Excellent coordination and communication skills for working with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to prepare technical documents.
Qualification:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
