Director of Career Development

The Director of Career Development is a senior leadership role that oversees the development and implementation of career services for students.

This individual will lead strategic planning to align with university objectives, advise students on the job search process, and oversee career fairs, workshops, and promotional activities to enhance external relations.

Key responsibilities include directing programs and services for career exploration, leading strategic planning, advising students, overseeing career events, and monitoring recruitment processes.

  • Directs an array of programs and services for career exploration, job planning, and higher education opportunities.
  • Leads strategic planning and establishes short and long-term goals to align with university objectives.
  • Advises students on the job-search process, interview preparation, resume writing, and other facets of career planning.
  • Oversees career fairs, workshops, alumni events, and promotional activities to enhance external relations and expand employer networks.
  • Monitors and reviews on-campus recruitment processes and develops career services to increase effectiveness.

Requirements:

Requires 15+ years of relevant experience and a Master's degree in business administration. Knowledge of IT tools used in career services is desirable.
