Job Title: Market Risk Manager

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Market Risk Manager, where you will be responsible for managing specialized risk management functions within the Enterprise Risk Management practice of the bank.

The successful candidate will have the ability to assess and mitigate market risks associated with various financial instruments and develop strategies to minimize losses.

  • Establish and maintain policies/guidelines on enhanced monitoring of Treasury/Investment/ALM/Liquidity risk.
  • Provide independent mid-office monitoring support on NOP, Fixed income, FIG, Derivatives, limit monitoring etc.
  • Monitor hedge effectiveness on a periodic basis and implement Capital charge and Counterparty Risk Charge calculations.
  • Conduct technical analysis of Equities, Bonds and Money market funds and all types of limit monitoring with respect to treasury activities.

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Market Risk Manager who has 6-8 years of relevant work experience in Middle East banks. You should have a good understanding of Behavioral studies of ALM products and implementation experience of ALM/Market Risk system from end to end.

Risk Management

  • Develop and implement effective risk management strategies to minimize market risks.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of risk exposures and monitor them regularly.

Analytical Skills:

  • Conduct technical analysis of financial instruments and markets to identify potential risks and opportunities.
  • Analyze data and reports to identify trends and patterns that may impact market risks.

  • Excellent knowledge of Market Risk, Liquidity Risk and ALM concepts and regulations.
  • Proven experience in risk management, preferably in a banking or financial institution environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to identify and mitigate risks.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills with ability to work effectively in a team.
