Business Development and Compliance Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development and Compliance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for supporting business teams in drafting, vetting, and negotiating agreements mainly relating to business development, international business, trusts, and other activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drafting, structuring, vetting, negotiating, and finalizing agreements in line with the business understanding and ensuring appropriate risk mitigation for the Company.
  • Reviewing statutory compliances at various locations and suggesting remedial measures. Working with concerned stakeholders to ensure remedial measures are put in place in a timely manner.
  • Understanding the business and analyzing the risk involved and advising on mitigating liabilities for the Company.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • LL.B. / LL.M.
  • Drafting, vetting, and negotiating various kinds of agreements within India and cross-border.
  • Exposure to Statutory Compliances, Litigation, and Intellectual Property law would be advantageous.
  • Strong negotiation skills and business and financial acumen.
  • Strong communications and drafting skills, including the ability to draft high-quality agreements and other documents.
  • Well-versed in how business operates in a high degree of professional ethics, integrity, and gravitas.
  • Ability to have influence across all levels of the business, including peers and senior management, and able to work independently.
  • Detail-oriented, good judgement, and sound risk-mitigating skills.
