Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned financial expert to fill the role of Senior Credit Analyst.

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting thorough financial analyses, business model reviews, and risk assessments for our corporate clients. This individual must possess excellent analytical skills, a deep understanding of credit policies, and the ability to effectively collaborate with internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform due diligence on large corporate clients, including review of annual reports, borrower/promoter background checks, and term sheets/sanction letters.
  • Conduct in-depth financial analyses, business model reviews, and management risk assessments using cashflow-based Excel models and analyzing cash flows and working capital.
  • Review and analyze credit notes, provide guidance to team members, and interact with various stakeholders (internal and external) for review of such clients.
  • Assign ratings to customers and prepare recommendation notes, recommending proposals to top management.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry dynamics, RBI circulars critical from wholesale lending perspectives, and bank internal policies.
  • Work collaboratively as a team player, handling resources, and driving results/goals set for self and team.

Requirements:

  • CA/MBA from a reputable institute.
  • Minimum 6 years of work experience in credit evaluation in a bank (not NBFC).
  • Strong technical competencies in financial analysis and market knowledge of industry segment.
