Job Title: Housekeeping Operations Manager

This is a leadership role where you will be responsible for the daily shift operations of housekeeping. You will direct and work with employees to ensure that guest rooms, public spaces, and employee areas are clean and well-maintained.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To verify guest room status and communicate it to the front desk in a timely and efficient manner.
  • To inspect guest rooms on a daily basis and obtain lists of rooms to be cleaned immediately and prospective check-outs or discharges to prepare work assignments.
  • To inventory stock to verify adequate supplies and support an effective inspection program for all guest rooms and public spaces.
  • To understand the impact of departmental operations on the overall property's financial goals and objectives and manage to achieve or exceed budgeted goals.
  • To supervise daily housekeeping shift operations and verify compliance with all housekeeping policies, standards, and procedures.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A high school diploma or GED.
  • Two years of experience in the housekeeping or related professional area.
  • Alternatively, two-year degree from an accredited university in hotel and restaurant management, hospitality, business administration, or a related major.
