Strategic Academic Leader

About the Role:

This role is responsible for providing support to the Director of Curriculum in implementing a visionary academic program. The Strategic Academic Leader will be accountable for enabling the implementation of the academy's mission, values, and strategic plan in alignment with its social-impact goals.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Enable the design and refinement of an mastery-based, AI-forward curriculum that integrates NIOS coursework, AP subjects, and Seminars courses.
  • Oversee student well-being initiatives, including social-emotional learning, advisory structures, and access to appropriate support resources.
  • Recruit, train, and evaluate skilled online educators, mentors, and staff.
  • Oversee the use of digital infrastructure, educational technology, AI agents, and data systems to optimize learning and measure impact.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 3-5 years in school administration, preferably in online, mastery-based, or social impact education.
  • Deep knowledge of NIOS and/or AP programmes, proficiency in inquiry-based pedagogies and blended learning.
  • Established experience in mentorship, leadership development, and gender-inclusive educational environments.
