Electronic Trading Specialist

We are seeking an expert in electronic trading to join our FIX Connectivity team. This is a highly skilled role requiring strong analytical and logical thinking capabilities, as well as exceptional communication and team management skills.

The successful candidate will be responsible for external communication with clients/brokers and their technology vendors, as well as participation in strategic projects such as system improvements and regulatory changes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Excellent understanding of the FIX protocol (ver. 4.2/4.4)
  • Experience with programming languages (Java, C++, C, Python)
  • Knowledge of Unix/Linux-based O/S Applications
  • Experience working with Databases and writing SQL queries- Oracle/SQL
  • Understanding of the FIX certification process
  • Experience working in an electronic trading environment in a FIX onboarding or FIX Support capacity
  • Familiarity with networking protocols, VPN, Extranet connectivity, and TCP/IP concepts
  • Exposure to asset classes: Equities, Futures, Options, FX
  • Proven experience in training and mentoring junior team members
  • Previous experience with Jira for project tracking, Confluence for documentation and knowledge sharing
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Scripting knowledge in Shell/Python
  • Familiarity with Algorithmic Trading
  • Previous experience with OMS/EMS, exchanges or trading firms
  • Previous experience in developing tooling and processes to drive efficiencies

A degree from a premier institution is preferred.
