Job Opportunity

We seek a seasoned audit professional with expertise in U.S. commercial real estate audits.

This role offers the chance to collaborate closely with engagement teams and contribute to impactful audits in a rapidly evolving industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform and assist with audits, reviews, and compilations for clients in various industries under US GAAP and US GAAS.
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements and evaluate internal controls.
  • Coordinate day-to-day duties, including planning, fieldwork, and wrap-up.
  • Develop a deep understanding of accounting and reporting standards generally accepted in the United States.
  • Conduct independent research on US GAAP and US GAAS.
  • Develop reasonable time budgets and coordinate audit requests to meet time constraints and client deadlines.
  • Mentor, train, and supervise lighter-level staff.
  • Contribute to strong client relationships through positive interactions with client personnel.
  • Communicate with supervisors, managers, and directors on work status and client issues.
Requirements:
  • CPA (or in process) or CA with 3-5 years of experience within a public accounting firm or US auditing CPA firm.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including responsiveness to offices.
  • Strong organizational skills and multi-tasking abilities.
  • Industry exposure: Commercial Real Estate.
  • Demonstrated teamwork and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work well independently and collaboratively.
  • Approaches projects with a sense of urgency.
  • Outstanding analytical, organizational, and project management skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Knowledge of Caseware, Caseview, or IDEA is a plus.
