Job Description

This position is part of our Affordable Housing Assurance team, supporting clients across the US from a global delivery model. We are seeking an Audit Manager to lead and manage audit engagements in the Residential Real Estate sector.

The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in affordable housing programs and a commitment to delivering high-quality, regulatory-compliant audit services.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Lead audits for residential real estate projects, ensuring compliance with regulations and industry standards.
  2. Review and prepare financial statements, audit workpapers, and compliance reports in accordance with regulations.
  3. Drive client engagements and ensure timely delivery of audit deliverables.
  4. Provide strategic guidance on compliance monitoring, risk mitigation, and internal control assessments for affordable housing entities.
Required Skills and Qualifications

CPA or CA certification required.

Minimum 5 years of experience in public accounting, with a focus on affordable housing or residential real estate engagements.

In-depth knowledge of affordable housing regulations, audit protocols, and industry sensitivities.

Experience with audit platforms such as CaseWare and data analytics tools.

Ability to work effectively in a global delivery model and manage cross-border teams.
