Job Title

A Cloud Support Engineer is required to manage and maintain Windows Server environments, including installation, configuration, patch management, and performance tuning.

  • Responsible for delivering remote support services to clients, resolving issues related to cloud services, server infrastructure, networking, and productivity software.
  • Involved in handling end-to-end migration of applications and infrastructure to the cloud, ensuring minimal disruption and maximum efficiency.
  • Expected to provide expert-level support for Office 365, including setup, configuration, and troubleshooting of Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and other associated services.
  • Tasked with configuring and troubleshooting printer setups across various network environments.
  • Required to implement and troubleshoot networking solutions, including VPN, VLAN, firewall configurations, and TCP/IP protocols.
  • Responsible for administering Active Directory environments, including user/group management, GPO deployment, and DNS configuration.
  • Expected to configure and optimize Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP) for secure remote access.
Requirements

A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.

  • Hands-on experience in cloud support and administration is an added advantage.
  • Strong proficiency in Office 365 administration, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, and Teams.
  • Solid understanding of Windows Server operating systems and Active Directory management.
  • Experience with printer setup and troubleshooting across different network configurations.
  • Knowledge of networking principles and protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN).
  • Ability to provide effective remote support to clients, demonstrating strong problem-solving skills and customer-centric attitude.
  • Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate or similar would be a plus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, articulating technical concepts to non-technical users.
