Senior Automation Specialist

We are seeking a seasoned professional with expertise in Python and Ansible to fill multiple openings. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing complex automation projects, focusing on integration and scalability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and deploy automated solutions using Python and Ansible.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities and implement scalable solutions.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation of automation processes and tools.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to automation systems and integrations.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends, applying knowledge to improve automation capabilities.

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of experience in automation and system administration.
  • Deep understanding of Python programming language and Ansible toolset.
  • Experience with API integration, middleware, and domain knowledge of frontend and backend development.
  • Expertise in managing incidents, change management, and problem-solving in high-pressure environments.
  • Hands-on experience with SAN technologies, including VMAX, VNX, HP 3par, Cisco, and Brocade.
  • Advanced knowledge of performance and capacity management for block and file storage.

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience with Fiber Channel SAN technologies, SRDF, and array-based replications.
  • Knowledge of IP-based block storage, Solidfire, ScaleIO, and Powerflex.
  • Basic UNIX management skills and software development experience in general-purpose programming languages.
  • Strong organizational, prioritization, debugging, and troubleshooting skills.
