Job Summary

We are seeking a seasoned professional to join our team as a Category Acquisition Specialist.

  • This role will be responsible for strategic vendor sourcing, procurement, and inventory management to drive business growth and profitability.
Key Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will have the following key responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement category-specific purchasing strategies to maximize revenue and minimize costs.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors to ensure timely delivery of products and services.
  • Manage and analyze sales data, market trends, and consumer behavior to inform purchasing decisions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of category plans.
  • Monitor and control inventory levels to prevent stockouts and overstocking.
Requirements:

To succeed in this role, the ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications:

  • A bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in FMCG sales, merchandising, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of driving business growth through strategic purchasing and supply chain management.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines.
