Job Title

A Product Designer is required to join our team at Electrical Sector EIIC Pune. The successful candidate will be responsible for product design in the mechanical engineering domain.

  • The role involves designing, validating and releasing system, sub-system and components independently as well as through a team of engineers.
  • CAD drawings- detailing, 3D models, Assemblies etc. will be created and released in PLM / ERP system per project plan.

Required skills and qualifications:

  • Bachelor or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering with experience in technical engineering organization.
  • 4+ years of experience with multinational engineering organization.

Responsibilities

As a Product Designer, you will work closely with global teams to identify opportunities for new technology, new products introductions of our products for performance and durability. You will drive alignment and collaboration with global electrical sector engineering, supply-chain and plant.

You will also achieve measurable outputs in terms of New Product Launch milestones, Cost outs($) goals and Sustaining Engineering throughput.

Other key responsibilities include owning end-to-end tasks/projects including product design, detailing, design validation & testing of products.

You will create Intellectual Property documents (IPs) around new product design concepts / ideas and drive innovation from ideation through to execution.

Requirements

We are looking for a highly motivated individual with excellent interpersonal skills, ability to clearly communicate to internal/external customers and suppliers.
