BMC is looking for a Product Designer - UI to join our amazing team

The ideal candidate will create visually stunning and functional UI components, manage our brand's color palette, and produce high-quality illustrations, iconography, and visual assets. You will collaborate closely with senior designers, engineers, researchers, and other stakeholders to craft user-centric, scalable, and visually compelling design solutions that drive business impact.

Here is how, through this exciting role, YOU will contribute to BMC's and your own success:

• Create UI/graphical elements for design system components.
• Manage and maintain the color palette in line with brand guidelines.
• Create pixel-perfect UI elements, illustrations, and iconography.
• Manage and evolve the brand color palette for consistency across platforms.
• Craft visually appealing and functional component states, layouts, and visual assets.
• Partner with engineers to support accurate implementation of design components.
• Create, maintain, and evolve design systems, component libraries, and visual style guides for consistency and efficiency.
• Keep up with the latest design and UX trends, emerging tools, and industry advancements to apply cutting-edge practices in product work.
• Maintain Figma component libraries and document it.
• Conduct design audits and suggest improvements for system scalability.

To ensure you're set up for success, you will bring the following skillset & experience:

• 3+ years of experience as a UI/UX Designer.
• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Interaction Design, or a related field.
• Strong portfolio showcasing design projects and proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar.
• Good understanding of design principles, including typography, color theory, and layout composition.
• Familiarity with user-centered design processes, user research techniques, and usability testing.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts and rationale.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for creating intuitive and visually appealing user experiences.

Whilst these are nice to have, our team can help you develop in the following skills:

• Knowledge of IT and system automation applications
• Experience with both SaaS and on-prem products

At BMC we believe in pay transparency and have set the midpoint of the salary band for this role at 1,725,800 INR. Actual salaries depend on a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training, licensure, and certifications; and other business and organizational needs.

The salary listed is just one component of BMC's employee compensation package. Other rewards may include a variable plan and country specific benefits.
