We, at Geekyworks, are building the future of travel planning and booking. We're starting with North-East India, where travelers often face fragmented information, inconsistent pricing, and trust issues while booking trips. The solution will be offering a one-stop platform where travelers can request itineraries, compare verified quotes from multiple tour providers, and book securely — all in one place.

We're on a mission to make trip planning as seamless as booking a flight.

Role Overview
We are looking for our first Product Designer to join the founding team and own the end-to-end design. This is not a narrow UI/UX role — you'll be shaping how thousands of travelers discover, plan, and book their trips. You will:

  • Lead design for the product experience from idea → research → wireframes → prototypes → final UI.

  • Conduct user research to deeply understand traveler pain points and translate them into elegant solutions.

  • Build a design system that ensures UI/UX is simple, consistent, and trustworthy.

  • Work closely with founders, engineers, and growth team to align design with business goals.

-Iterate fast using data + feedback from real users.

This is a chance to work alongside sharp minds and shape both the product and the brand at an early stage.

Requirements
Strong understanding of design principles, laws, and user psychology and ability to apply them in real-world product design.

3–6 years of design experience in consumer apps, marketplaces, or travel/fintech/e-commerce products.

Strong portfolio showcasing UX case studies (not just pretty screens).

Proficiency in Figma, Sketch, or similar tools.

Ability to prototype quickly and test with real users.

Experience creating and maintaining a design system.

Strong understanding of how design impacts conversion, retention, and trust.

Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate cross-functionally.

A startup mindset: comfortable with ambiguity, speed, and wearing multiple hats.

Designed products end to end.

Business and technology understanding.

Understands Millennial and GenZ user behaviour.
