Job Title: Senior Video Editor

About the Role:

The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of video editing principles and the ability to craft compelling narratives that engage audiences. They will work closely with directors, producers, and clients to ensure creative direction is aligned and storytelling is effective.

Responsibilities:

  • Edit high-quality videos with smooth transitions, color correction, and audio enhancement.
  • Manage post-production timelines, organize footage, and streamline delivery across multiple projects.
  • Perform quality checks to ensure all videos meet brand standards and client expectations.
  • Collaborate with team members to align creative direction and storytelling.
  • Troubleshoot editing software, hardware, and file format issues for a smooth workflow.
  • Organize and archive digital assets and project files efficiently.
  • Stay up-to-date with trends in editing, motion design, and storytelling to continuously push creative limits.

Requirements:

  • 6-10 years of hands-on editing experience in an agency or fast-paced creative environment.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or Avid Media Composer.
  • Strong understanding of video formats, color grading, codecs, and export settings.
  • A sharp storytelling sense with a passion for visual coherence and flow.
  • Stellar organizational skills and the ability to multitask across projects.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with motion graphics, VFX, and compositing.
  • Working knowledge of Adobe After Effects and sound editing tools.
  • Familiarity with digital asset management systems.
