Job Title: Senior IT Infra Monitoring Engineer

Job Overview:

The primary goal of this position is to ensure the optimal functioning of our company's IT systems. A skilled and experienced Monitoring Engineer is required to take on this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitoring system performance in a 24x7 environment, identifying potential issues before they impact operations.
  • Effective communication with clients, ISPs, and vendors to resolve any encountered problems.
  • Raising Jira tickets and notifying onsite teams of critical alerts.
  • Configuring and monitoring alerts in Datadog, PagerDuty, Meraki, and other network devices.
  • Integrating and setting up Datadog agents on various devices, including QNAP NAS, print servers, and VMs.
  • Managing Datadog collector, forwarder, APM agent, and datadog.yaml files.
  • Implementing On/Off call shift setup with escalation policy adjustment in PagerDuty.
  • Proficient experience with PagerDuty setup with Datadog and Meraki Dashboard.

Requirements:

  • 2-5 years of experience in similar roles.
  • Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with colleagues and clients.
  • Experience with Jira, Datadog, PagerDuty, Meraki, and other related tools.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • In-depth knowledge of Datadog and its components.
  • Hands-on experience with Linux and Windows-based devices.
