Job Title:

Project Portfolio Management Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our team as a consultant. The successful candidate will lead the implementation, configuration, and operationalization of project portfolio management systems for project controls supporting programs.

The Project Portfolio Management Specialist will be responsible for configuring portfolios, projects, contracts modules, design cost classes, coding structures, WBS, timesheet budget forecasting workflows, change controls, and governance templates. Additionally, they will establish baselines, progress capture EACEVM calculations, variance analysis dashboards, implement standardized monthly cycle forecast accruals, KPIs, and orchestrate integrations between project management systems and ERP systems.

The ideal candidate should have strong cost management, budgeting, forecasting, and EVM knowledge, as well as proven integration experience with SAP, SFDC, EDW, Snowflake, IICS, or similar ETL ability to define source to project management system mappings. Reporting skills in native project management systems, Power BI, Tableau for enterprise distribution, solid SQL data modeling fundamentals, Agile delivery Scrum SAFe are also essential.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Lead the implementation, configuration, and operationalization of project portfolio management systems.

  • Establish baselines, progress capture EACEVM calculations, variance analysis dashboards, implement standardized monthly cycle forecast accruals, KPIs.
