Program Management for Engineering Development

The Operations Lifecycle Program Management team leads material management from concept to launch, focusing on iPhone engineering and operation builds.

This role partners closely with Hardware Engineering, Product Design, System Program Management, Suppliers, Procurement, Operations, and Contract Manufacturers to ensure product readiness meets the launch schedule.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Manage timely and in-spec material readiness for development and operation builds
  • Track component changes and configuration variances at each build stage
  • Collaborate with procurement, suppliers, finance, and contract manufacturers to ensure demand and incoming supply is aligned and communicated
  • Run material cost, lead time, liability, spend forecast, and actualizations
  • Manage purchase orders/requisitions and maintain invoice tracking and receipt of goods
  • Present regular material cost and readiness updates to engineering and operations leadership teams

Requirements

  • Bachelor degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, Business, or related fields
  • 5+ years experience in program and supply chain management
