Job Summary:

The Data Analyst will play a key role in building and maintaining data infrastructure while delivering insightful analysis. The role is a hybrid between data engineering and analytics, requiring strong technical skills in SQL, Python, and data pipelines.

Responsibilities include:

  • Supervising management and maintenance of data collection tools
  • Designing, building, and maintaining robust ETL pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Logic Apps, and APIs
  • Administering and optimizing the database on Microsoft Azure
  • Ensuring high-quality, clean, and well-documented data pipelines and dataflows
  • Implementing and maintaining data quality controls
  • Managing special data projects as the organization expands into new areas

Business Intelligence & Analytics Responsibilities:

  • Developing and maintaining interactive dashboards and automated reporting tools
  • Conducting in-depth analysis to provide actionable insights to support decision-making
  • Presenting findings and insights to internal teams and stakeholders in a clear and actionable manner
  • Ensuring dashboards and data collection tools accurately reflect the status of the program

Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate degree in data science, computer engineering, statistics, or another quantitative field required
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in SQL development and database administration experience (Azure SQL preferred)
  • Minimum 3 years' experience building and maintaining ETL pipelines (Azure Data Factory, Logic Apps, or similar tools)
  • Proficiency with APIs and data integration methods
  • Advanced Excel skills (Power Query, PivotTables, advanced formulas, macros a plus)
  • Expertise in Power BI (DAX, data modeling, dashboard/report design)
  • Proficiency in Python for data transformation, automation, and analysis

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience with Salesforce or similar CRMs
  • Knowledge of R for advanced analysis
  • Experience with version control and collaborative coding practices
