Job Summary:

We are seeking a seasoned Procurement Operations Manager to join our team. This role will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day procurement operations processes, ensuring seamless execution of tasks and activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee PR to PO conversion, fixed asset creation and capitalization, supplier re-certification, contract drafting, and system updates.
  • Contribute to key performance metrics of the team, such as SLA, quality, and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with category managers, accounts payable, vendor risk management office, corporate ethics and compliance teams, information security and privacy, and contingent workforce program team to drive issue resolution and process improvements.
  • Review legal clauses and handle customer issues along the contract execution path.
  • Document processes, build and maintain desktop procedures (DTPs).
  • Analyze data and act within the realm of activities as a buyer.
  • Compile and publish weekly/monthly reports for the team and represent the team on various internal forums.
  • Develop and execute strategies to effectively handle customer relationships: resolve user queries on time and with accuracy, build awareness of common pitfalls, conduct periodic or need-based reviews with key partners.
  • Pursue special projects and drive continuous improvements.
  • Provide clear guidance and support to internal partners on procurement policies and standard methodologies.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's/Undergraduate degree in any subject area; Master's is an added advantage.
  • Around 5-7 years of validated experience in procurement operations with exposure to both product & services procurement in at least two categories.
  • In-depth knowledge of procurement processes is essential, along with experience in P2P tools like Ariba/Coupa and ERP systems like SAP/Oracle.
  • Experience in operations related to PR to PO conversion and working with standard contract templates/boilerplates.
  • Collaboration with legal and knowledge of legal terms in a contract are beneficial.
