This role is responsible for operating and maintaining a thermal power plant network at multiple locations. The key responsibilities of this job include driving the procurement of coal logistics services, ensuring timely availability of coal, conducting market studies, and identifying opportunities for cost reduction.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Strategic Procurement: Drive strategic procurement of coal logistics services to achieve optimum cost optimization.
  2. Timely Availability: Ensure timely availability of coal by streamlining coal logistics procurement activities in line with planned generation.
  3. Market Study: Conduct continuous market study and identification of opportunities for cost reduction, quality improvement, better risk mitigation, etc.
  4. New Service Providers: Identify, onboard, and develop new service providers for coal logistics services.
  5. Fuel Management: Support fuel management teams in preparing coal sourcing plans on a need basis.
Requirements:
  • Educational Qualifications: A bachelor's degree in business administration or related field.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and project management skills.
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in procurement and supply chain management.
