Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced professional to oversee the logistics of our trailer fleet operations. This is a crucial role that requires strong organizational and problem-solving skills.

The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of route planning, road networks, and regulatory requirements. They must be able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and make informed decisions to ensure smooth operation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Trailer Fleet Operations: The Logistics Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our trailer fleet, ensuring timely delivery of goods, and maintaining optimal vehicle condition.
  • Route Planning: They will work closely with our transportation team to plan and optimize routes, taking into account traffic patterns, road conditions, and other factors that may impact delivery times.
  • MORTH Permissions: The Logistics Supervisor must have a thorough understanding of MORTH permissions, online fines, and overload regulations to ensure compliance and minimize penalties.
  • Over Dimensional Cargo (ODC) Movement: They will oversee the movement of ODC cargo, ensuring that it is transported safely and efficiently while meeting all regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

  • Experience: A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in trailer fleet operations, route planning, or a related field.
  • Qualifications: A bachelor's degree in logistics, transportation, or a related field is highly desirable.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, ability to work under pressure, and proficiency in MS Office applications.
