The role of Sales Coordinator is pivotal in ensuring the smooth movement of vehicles, efficient dispatch operations, and effective logistics management.

This involves overseeing daily activities, coordinating with internal teams such as marketing, sales, and process departments, as well as external stakeholders like customers, transporters, and drivers.

A key accountability of this position is vehicle movement and dispatch coordination. Responsibilities include:

  • Issuing delivery orders and instructions to drivers based on customer requirements
  • Ensuring all necessary checks are completed before allowing vehicle entry
  • Supervising the loading process, adhering to Road Transport Office (RTO) loading capacity, and generating dispatch documents
  • Handover all necessary dispatch documents to the driver

Additionally, the Sales Coordinator is responsible for pipeline invoicing, cross-departmental coordination, document management and reporting, compliance and audit, and logistics and incident reporting.

Key interactions for this role include working with HODs, all departments, team members, customers, and drivers.

Required skills and qualifications for this position include a minimum Bachelor's degree, Certification in Supply Chain Management / Material Management, and a minimum 5-10 years of experience in sales/logistic coordination.

A strong knowledge of logistics operations, export documentation, and familiarity with GST laws, SAP software, and inventory management systems are also essential.

The ideal candidate should possess excellent organizational, communication, and coordination skills, as well as the ability to handle high volumes of daily transactions.
