Compliance Expert - Financial Services

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Compliance Expert, focusing on delivering exceptional risk management and regulatory compliance solutions in the financial services industry. As a key member of our compliance function, you will play a critical role in ensuring our business operations align with all relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Designing, implementing, and maintaining effective risk assessment frameworks to identify potential compliance risks;
  • Developing and delivering high-quality training and awareness programs for employees on compliance-related topics;
  • Collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies;
  • Conducting regular surveillance and monitoring activities to detect and prevent non-compliance issues;
  • Managing and escalating non-compliance incidents, developing corrective action plans, and tracking progress towards resolution;
  • Providing expert advice on compliance matters to senior stakeholders and leadership teams;
  • Maintaining accurate records of compliance-related activities, including incident reports, audit findings, and remediation plans.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2-5 years of experience in a compliance or control function within the financial services industry;
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills, with a strong understanding of regulatory requirements and industry standards;
  • Demonstrated expertise in risk assessment and mitigation strategies;
  • Proven project management and people management skills, with experience leading cross-functional teams;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and develop actionable insights;
  • Familiarity with data analytics tools and technologies, such as Excel, Tableau, or Power BI;
  • Certifications in compliance, risk management, or related fields (e.g., CCO, CRMP, CAMS) are highly desirable.
