Job Title:

Front Desk Officer cum Admin Assistant

Description:

This position involves leading day-to-day operational matters. The role is the first point of contact for our organization, providing administrative support across the company. You will welcome guests and greet people who visit the office. This includes coordinating front-desk activities, such as distributing correspondence and redirecting phone calls.

Responsibilities:
  1. Greet and welcome guests/visitors upon arrival at the office.
  2. Direct visitors to the appropriate person or department.
  3. Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls.
  4. Ensure the reception area is tidy and well-presented, with all necessary stationery and materials.
  5. Provide basic and accurate information in-person and via phone/email.
  6. Receive, sort, and distribute daily mail/deliveries.
  7. Maintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling access through the reception desk.
  8. Order office supplies and maintain inventory of stock.
  9. Manage staff, student, and parent access card printing.
  10. Perform other clerical receptionist duties, including filing, photocopying, etc.
  11. Undertake other ad hoc tasks assigned by the line manager.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Good knowledge of office software and systems.
  • Previous experience in a similar role would be an advantage.
