Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Platform Architect to lead our platform engineering function and advanced resolution team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping our internal developer platforms, ensuring reliability, scalability, and efficiency across our infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines.

This is a challenging opportunity for a technical leader who can drive platform engineering capabilities and optimize platform reliability to enable faster developer velocity through internal platforms.

  • Define and execute the strategic vision for the platform engineering organization, aligning with business goals and engineering best practices.
  • Build, scale, and manage internal developer platforms (IDPs) and infrastructure components that accelerate development, reduce cognitive load on application teams, and improve reliability.
  • Champion platform-as-a-product thinking — driving adoption, ease of use, and measurable business value.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 17+ years of experience in software engineering, infrastructure engineering, or platform engineering, with at least 5 years in a leadership role at Director level or above.
  • Proven experience leading platform engineering functions including build systems, infrastructure automation, service discovery, secrets management, and developer tooling.
  • Experience with Kubernetes, containerization, service mesh (e.g., Istio, Linkerd), Terraform, CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Argo, Jenkins, GitHub Actions), and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
  • Demonstrated success leading advanced troubleshooting or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) teams during critical outages or complex technical escalations.
