About This Role

This is a fantastic opportunity to join our team as a Director of Land Acquisition and play a pivotal role in building India's leading Build-to-Rent (BTR) platform.

Crest EZY is redefining rental housing in India, creating high-quality, purpose-built rental assets across top cities starting with Mumbai. We are seeking an exceptional individual to spearhead land sourcing and acquisition strategy, responsible for identifying and securing land parcels in targeted micro-markets, evaluating feasibility, engaging with brokers and landowners, and facilitating the entire acquisition and closing process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and evaluate land parcels in pre-defined target micro-markets, ensuring alignment with Crest EZY's product design and business model.
  • Develop and maintain a strong network of brokers, landowners, developers, and other intermediaries, fostering relationships that facilitate smooth execution of deals.
  • Conduct initial due diligence on land titles, zoning, FSI potential, ready reckoner rates, and development control regulations.
  • Collaborate with internal analysts to prepare feasibility studies, financial models, and market assessments, providing valuable insights for informed decision-making.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Business, Finance, Architecture, or related field, with a preference for an MBA.
  • 2-4 years of relevant experience in land acquisition, real estate development, or investment, with a proven track record of successfully sourcing and closing land transactions.
  • Strong knowledge of Mumbai Development Control Regulations (DCR) and land acquisition processes, coupled with excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Established network with brokers, landowners, and developers in MMR, with strong negotiation, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
