\Milk Procurement and Operations Head

This leadership role oversees the overall procurement and inputs for facilities under input and extension activities, focusing on milk procurement volume and growth, new chilling centers setup, milk quality, cost efficiency, farmer network development, feed supplements, veterinary services, food safety and quality standards, and team performance management.

  • Milk Procurement Strategies: Develop and implement effective procurement strategies to optimize resources and ensure seamless operations.
  • Growth Initiatives: Design and execute plans to increase milk procurement volume and achieve growth targets.
  • Infrastructure Development: Set up efficient infrastructure solutions to support milk chilling and storage needs.
  • Milk Quality Monitoring: Monitor and improve milk quality by achieving desired fat and SNF percentages.
  • Cost Optimization: Identify areas for cost reduction and implement measures to minimize expenses.
  • Farmer Engagement: Foster relationships with farmers to promote sustainable practices and improve supply chain efficiency.
  • Support Services: Provide essential support services to farmers, including feed supplements and veterinary care.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and maintain high standards of food safety and quality.
  • Team Management: Lead and motivate a team to achieve organizational goals and objectives.

Requirements:
Must have relevant experience in a similar role.
Must be proficient in Marathi language.
Must have at least 5 years of experience as a Manager.
