Financial Operations Specialist

To effectively manage financial commitments, the ideal candidate will oversee vendor balances, cash flow management, payment transactions, and ensure compliance with tax regulations. This role involves exploring opportunities for digital finance enablement to streamline operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurate Data Verification:
- Review invoices for adherence to agreements, approvals, and purchase orders
- Verify data entries in SAP and ensure accurate accounting
- Timely Payments (including MSME):
- Monitor invoices from vendors and collaborate with treasury for timely payments
- Ensure payment vouchers are submitted to the Treasury team on payment days
- Review reports for delayed payments
- Vendor Reconciliation:
- Ensure completeness of accounts reconciliations with vendors as per standard operating procedures
- Validate differences in accounts and follow up on issues
- Reporting and Analysis:
- Monitor reports sent to internal and external customers
- Provide complete information to customers as required
- Respond to queries in a timely manner
- Compliance and Audits:
- Ensure adherence to all regulatory compliances, including TDS and GST
- Share data as required for audit purposes
- Digital Process Automation:
- Regularly review processes to identify areas for automation
- Collaborate with digitalization partners to implement automation solutions
Requirements:
- MBA Finance or Chartered Accountant qualification
- 8-10 years of experience in finance or a related field
