The Senior Architect position oversees and leads architectural projects, ensuring design standards and client requirements are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the architectural design process, ensuring all designs meet client specifications and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop detailed architectural drawings, designs, and presentations for various project types, ensuring high-quality outcomes.
  • Project Coordination:
  • Manage the progress of architectural projects, coordinating with internal teams, consultants, contractors, and clients to meet project objectives and deadlines.
  • Ensure alignment between architectural design and construction feasibility, budgets, and schedules.
  • Client Communication:
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, providing expertise and advice throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Code Compliance:
  • Ensure all designs comply with local, state, and national building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Conduct regular design reviews and quality checks to maintain architectural standards.
  • Team Development:
  • Lead and mentor junior architects and design staff, offering guidance on design processes, technical solutions, and professional development.
  • Provide leadership in architectural concepts and solutions, ensuring alignment with company goals.
  • Sustainability:
  • Promote sustainable design practices and materials in architectural solutions, minimizing environmental impact.
  • Stay up-to-date with architectural trends, technologies, and innovations to integrate into designs.
  • Collaboration:
  • Build strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members, ensuring effective communication and satisfaction throughout project phases.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.
  • Licensed Architect (RA or equivalent certification) is preferred or equivalent experience.
  • 7+ years of experience in architectural design, leading complex projects across commercial, residential, and mixed-use developments.
  • Extensive experience working with architectural design software, such as AutoCAD, Revit, Rhino, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Familiarity with building codes, zoning laws, and regulatory requirements.
  • Previous experience working remotely or in a back-office capacity for US-based teams is an advantage.
