Financial Research Specialist

At our organization, we are seeking a highly skilled Financial Research Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our research department, you will play a crucial role in conducting macroeconomic research and industry analysis.

The ideal candidate will possess strong financial modeling and statistical analysis skills, with the ability to analyze complex data sets and present findings in a clear and concise manner. Proficiency in Bloomberg and Reuters terminals is also essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct macroeconomic research on global economic trends and asset classes
  • Analyze industry research and identify fundamental drivers
  • Prepare investment theses for Equities, Bonds, etc.
  • Generate research reports for Trading, Sales, and Marketing support
  • Create diversified customer portfolios as per client requests
  • Knowledge of structured products and preparation of investment pitches for wealth management products
  • Utilize financial modeling and statistical analysis skills
  • Familiarity with Bloomberg and Reuters terminals
  • Complete tasks within specified deadlines and handle stress effectively
  • Assist in process improvement, problem-solving, and demonstrate self-starting initiative
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or related field; CFA Level I/II/III preferred
  • Strong macroeconomic research and industry analysis skills across asset classes (Equities, Bonds, FX, Commodities)
  • Experience preparing investment theses and constructing diversified portfolios
  • Proficient in Bloomberg and Reuters terminals
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
  • Proactive, with problem-solving abilities and strong communication skills
