Financial Analyst Position

The primary role of a Financial Analyst is to analyze financial data, identify trends and patterns, and develop forecasts to inform business decisions.

We are seeking a skilled Financial Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.

The successful candidate will be able to analyze historical financial data, identify key performance indicators (KPIs), and emerging trends in the industry. They will also be able to conduct extensive company valuations using various approaches such as discounted cash flow (DCF), dividend discount model (DDM), trading multiples, and economic value added (EVA).

The Financial Analyst will be responsible for preparing detailed financial projections based on financial statements, management briefings, and company budgets. They will also be able to normalize financial statements, create various scenarios, and prepare liquidation-based recovery analysis for debt pieces.

In addition to these tasks, the Financial Analyst will be expected to handle ad-hoc research requests and support other team members. They will also be required to prepare company profiles, analytical reports, earnings and flash notes, quarterly updates, coverage, sector, and theme-based reports, newsletters, and technology primers.

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Financial Analyst who can work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines. The ideal candidate will have a CA/CFA designation and 4-6 years of experience in financial modeling, LBO models, DCF/relative valuations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze financial data to identify trends and patterns.
  • Develop forecasts to inform business decisions.
  • Conduct company valuations using various approaches.
  • Prepare detailed financial projections.
  • Normalize financial statements and create various scenarios.
  • Prepare liquidation-based recovery analysis for debt pieces.

Requirements:

  • CA/CFA designation.
  • 4-6 years of experience in financial modeling, LBO models, DCF/relative valuations.
  • Strong understanding of financial statements.
  • Ability to analyze historical financial data.
  • Ability to conduct company valuations.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
