Financial Analyst Role

About the position:

The financial analyst is a critical member of the finance team, responsible for maintaining the integrity of the general ledger and providing accurate and timely financial reporting.

This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of accounting principles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accounting and Financial Reporting: Prepare and post journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded, reconcile general ledger accounts and resolve discrepancies, and assist in month-end and year-end closing activities.
  • Fixed Asset Management: Maintain fixed asset records and depreciation schedules.
  • Internal and External Audits: Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation.
  • Financial Analysis and Reporting: Analyze financial data and prepare reports for management.
  • Process Improvements and Automation: Assist in the implementation of process improvements and automation initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
