This is a senior role that oversees the entire lifecycle of software development. Key responsibilities include leading and managing a team of software developers, providing technical expertise across multiple projects, identifying opportunities for optimization and delivering solutions, setting and managing team priorities to align with organizational goals, and overseeing the implementation and deployment of high-quality software solutions.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of software developers and project managers, fostering professional growth through mentorship and guidance
  • Provide technical expertise across a portfolio of software development projects
  • Identify opportunities and deliver solutions for EDA workflow optimizations
  • Set and manage team priorities in line with organizational objectives, collaborating closely with diverse stakeholders
  • Oversee the entire software development lifecycle, from planning and design to implementation, testing, and deployment

Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess 14+ years of hands-on experience in software engineering, with at least 6 years in a leadership role. They will also have strong proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C++, Python, or similar, as well as expertise in software lifecycle management, version control, and CI/CD best practices for quality, agility, and security. Additionally, they will have proven ability to manage multiple projects and conflicting priorities, experience with public cloud environments, microservices architecture, containerization, and EDA and semiconductor design process. The candidate should be able to explain technical concepts and analysis implications in a clear manner to a wide audience.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of IT-related work experience with a Bachelor's degree
  • OR 9+ years of IT-related work experience without a Bachelor's degree
  • 4+ years in a leadership role in projects/programs
