About the Role
  • We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Development Engineer to lead the design, development, and implementation of complex software applications and features.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the design, development, and implementation of complex software applications and features.
  • Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code adhering to best practices and coding standards.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers and team members.
  • Review code written by others to ensure quality and adherence to standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to brainstorm ideas and showcase designs for early feedback.
  • Maintain high-quality code in line with established standards and contribute to the common components library.
  • Ensure test coverage of components and applications meets minimum thresholds.
  • Take ownership of the application's uptime, which is critical to business success.
  • Participate in agile ceremonies on a day-to-day basis.
  • Contribute to system architecture decisions ensuring scalability, performance, and security.
  • Ongoing optimization of existing systems for performance and reliability.
Requirements:
  • Strong proficiency in UI development using native JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
  • Able to build scalable solutions with or without libraries and/or frameworks.
  • Unit testing is a must, and experience with React, Angular JS, or Vue Js is required.
  • Experience designing solutions from ground up to production stack.
  • Excellent communication skills essential for collaboration.
  • Ability to work effectively in both in-person and virtual settings.
Highly Beneficial Skills:
  • Familiarity with Ember Js framework.
