Senior Software Development Lead

This is a senior-level position for an experienced software engineer who can lead the development of complex applications.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software design, development, and testing, with expertise in AWS cloud native technologies and experience working with both modern React front-end and legacy systems using technologies like Backbone, jQuery, and PHP.
As a key member of the team, the successful candidate will be responsible for designing solutions to complex problems, collaborating with colleagues on scoping, estimating, implementing, and testing new features and fixes, and delivering high-quality results in a timely and predictable manner.
The role also involves mentoring other engineers on good practices, technologies, and patterns, as well as demonstrating excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop complex software applications using AWS cloud native technologies
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality results
- Mentor and guide junior engineers on software development best practices
Requirements:
- Proficiency in PHP and React
- Experience with AWS CDK and Terraform
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment
- Fluent written and spoken English
