Job Opportunity:

Risk Analysis Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Risk Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills and experience in managing risk in a non-banking financial company (NBFC), fintech, or lending organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and Implement Credit Risk Models: Create, implement, and review credit risk models and associated frameworks in an unsecured rural/semi-urban lending context.
  • Monitor Credit Risk Strategies: Implement and monitor credit risk strategies across the lending life cycle, including acquisition, underwriting, cross-sell, and collections.
  • Review Portfolio Performance: Regularly review the portfolio on various risk metrics to identify early warning signals and analyze portfolio trends to track quality against accepted risk parameters.
  • Ensure Timely Review of Risk Policies: Ensure that risk policies are reviewed and updated regularly to reflect the dynamic external environment and internal risk appetite.
  • Analyze Industry Data and Trends: Analyze industry data, prepare management information systems (MIS) and dashboards, and apprise senior management on changing market conditions.
  • Review Processes for Adherence to Risk Policies: Regularly review processes for adherence to risk policies and ensure that controls are effectively in place and working.
  • Coordinate with Internal Teams: Coordinate with various internal teams to strengthen the risk framework.

Requirements:

  • Education: BTech or MTech from a Tier 1 college.
  • Experience: 3-6 years of experience in managing risk in a NBFC, fintech, or lending organization.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python and SQL is mandatory. Excellent understanding of data and ability to bring insights.
  • Knowledge of Statistical Models: Sound knowledge of statistical models.
  • Additional Advantage: Experience in microfinance or MSME lending is an added advantage.
