Human Resources Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Human Resources Specialist - Employee Relations to join our team in Bangalore, India.
About the RoleThe primary objective of this position is to ensure that employees receive fair, respectful, and consistent treatment, aligning with Deluxe's culture and core values. As an Employee Relations Manager, you will provide expertise in employee relations and investigation support, case management, consultation, and project management assistance. Your responsibilities will encompass both proactive (education and prevention) and reactive (conflict management and investigations) categories.
You will be responsible for providing expert-level consultation, guidance, and support in all matters related to employee relations, including management training, employee complaint review, policy development, disability and leave accommodations, and reduction in force processes. Prioritization and balancing time between projects and crisis-response is a critical component for success in this position.
Key Responsibilities- Network, research, and bring innovative ideas to create a more inclusive and engaging work environment at Deluxe.
- Brand and evangelize the value of an ER function, helping to build a culture of openness and trust.
- Work on projects and initiatives to mitigate risk and maintain current knowledge in HR and ER concepts, practices, procedures, and legal updates.
- Create guidelines, best practices, and training programs to educate employees, managers, and other HR members on how to address behavioral issues in the workplace.
- Partner with HRBPs, Legal, and other investigative parties as required to conduct thorough investigations and reach the best outcomes for the organization and employees.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent; advanced degree and legal coursework preferred.
- A minimum of 8 years of global Employee Relations experience gained in either an HRBP role or Employee Relations Advisory role or equivalent experience.
- Strong interpersonal and persuasion skills, enabling individuals to establish partnerships with senior leaders and across organizational lines.
- Experience with employment Indian labor law principles, POSH-related compliance, and effective risk management practices.
- Able to think strategically about programs, processes, and people, recognizing, analyzing, and communicating strategies for issue resolution and risk analysis.
- Mastery of Microsoft Office, specifically PowerPoint.
Rupees 25-35 lakhs per annum, based on qualifications, experience, and location.
