ITSM Architect Job Description

About this role: We are seeking an experienced IT Service Management (ITSM) architect to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in ITSM tool implementation and customization, with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the design and implementation of our ITSM platform, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems and processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and develop solutions that meet their needs.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including functional design documents and technical specifications.
  • Perform on-site design reviews and provide input on system configuration and customization.
  • Analyze system deficiencies and recommend solutions to ensure a reliable and reproducible development-to-production environment.
  • Maintain tool configuration consistency across development, testing, sandbox, and production environments.
  • Provide ongoing production support and end-user support.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Technical Requirements:
  • Experience with Cherwell ITSM, Data Dog, Flexara One, ScienceLogic, ServiceNow FSM, ServiceNow ITAM-HAM, ServiceNow ITOM-ServiceMapping, SolarWinds Server and Application Monitor, Splunk, and VMware vRealize Automation Administration.
  • Familiarity with Agile Scrum methodology and experience working in a fast-paced project environment.
  • Strong understanding of software development principles and practices.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
