Cloud Infrastructure Engineer Role OverviewThis role focuses on designing, deploying and maintaining highly available and scalable GCP infrastructure to support applications and services.

  • Develop and enforce best practices for infrastructure as code, configuration management and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot GCP infrastructure performance, identify and resolve bottlenecks, and optimize resource utilization.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, architects, and operations, to architect and implement secure, efficient, and cost-effective solutions on GCP.
Required Skills and QualificationsTo be successful in this role you should have the following skills:
  • Strong hands-on experience with ForgeRock/Ping IAM products (AM, IDM, IG, DS).
  • Deep understanding of IAM architecture, integration methods, REST APIs and directory services.
  • Experience in Java development, Spring Boot, scripting and secure coding standards.
  • Proven experience deploying, managing and scaling applications in Kubernetes environments, particularly Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE).
  • Exposure to DevOps, version control and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Good understanding of Authentication, Authorization, MFA, SSO, Federation, OAuth, OIDC, Provisioning, Reconciliation, Proxy and Directory Services concepts.
  • Should have knowledge of AD, LDAP, Database integration.
  • Java development experience for customizations and enhancements of IAM systems, including writing secure, maintainable code to support authentication and authorization workflows.
  • Knowledge of IAM solutions in Cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and how IAM integrates within those platforms.
  • Experience with API security and integration using JSON, REST and web services.
