We are seeking a seasoned Project Management Professional to lead the pre-opening strategy and execution for our luxury wellness brand, ODESPA. This is an exceptional chance to join a dynamic organization and contribute to the growth of the spa and wellness industry in India.
About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive pre-opening plans for multiple spa locations. They will work closely with cross-functional teams, including design, procurement, HR, marketing, and operations, to ensure seamless coordination and execution of projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Pre-Opening Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement strategic plans for the pre-opening phase, focusing on operational excellence and timely delivery.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Foster strong relationships with stakeholders across various departments to ensure smooth project execution.
- Vendor Management: Identify, negotiate, and manage vendor relationships to meet quality and budget expectations.
- Process Optimization: Establish standard operating procedures (SOPs) for pre-opening activities and continuously improve processes to maximize efficiency.
- Resource Allocation: Monitor and allocate resources, including manpower, materials, and financial budgets, to ensure projects stay on track.
- Risk Management: Anticipate potential challenges and develop solutions to mitigate risks during the pre-opening phase.
- Stakeholder Reporting: Provide regular updates and reports to senior management, highlighting project status, milestones achieved, and any roadblocks.
Requirements
The ideal candidate should have:
- Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, Architecture, or related fields. Project Management certification (e.g., PMP) is preferred.
- Relevant Experience: 8–10 years of experience in project management within the retail, spa, or hospitality industry. Multi-site operations experience is advantageous.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Asana, Trello) and strong knowledge of budgeting and financial planning.
- Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of the retail and hospitality landscape, including trends, customer preferences, and operational best practices.
