Job Title: Senior Packet Core Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Packet Core Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our operations group, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our Packet Core network.

Your primary focus will be on monitoring and reviewing system performance, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing changes as needed. You will also contribute to the creation and maintenance of technical procedures and routines within the department.

In addition to your technical expertise, you will participate in internal discussions to improve overall network performance and provide recommendations to enhance the user experience.

As an Operations Engineer, you will be the first point of contact for technical issues and will work closely with cross-functional teams to resolve problems efficiently.

You will have access to the latest tools and technologies, including vEPC (Evolved Packet Core) nodes running on Virtual Platform. Your extensive knowledge of Ericsson PS Core Troubleshooting and configuration will be invaluable in this role.

Responsibilities
  1. Monitor and review system performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
  2. Contribute to the creation and maintenance of technical procedures and routines within the department.
  3. Participate in internal discussions to improve overall network performance and provide recommendations to enhance the user experience.
  4. Provide 2nd Level support for the Packet Core Operations Data Network.
  5. Ensure that system configuration related changes are executed according to given access rights.
Requirements
  • Degree or equivalent experience in Engineering preferably in Electronics, Computer Science, Telecommunication, or equivalent.
  • 7+ years of experience in Ericsson PS Core Troubleshooting and configuration.
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to deliver results and meet customer expectations.
